Vedolizumab (Entyvio®)

• Bir tür biyolojik ilaç (monoklonal antikor) olup kimyasal üretim yerine laboratuvarda canlı hücreler tarafından üretilir.
• Bağırsak endotel hücrelerine özel olarak bağlanır: α4β7 integrin proteinine bağlanır ve MAdCAM-1 ile etkileşimini engeller. Beyaz kan hücrelerinin bağırsağa girmesini engelleyerek iltihabı azaltır
• Crohn hastalığı veya Ülseratif kolit tedavisinde kullanılır.
